I am undesided on what to buy. I am looking to spend about $300 I guess depends on the card and the benifits I guess, the less the better tho.
I was looking at one of these:

strictly from that list i'd go for a gf2ti, but if you can stretch the budget go for a gf3ti200, or maybe even look for them in a few weeks they should be a hell of a lot cheaper...

or look into the gf4mx's...not quiet as good as a gf3 but at 250 odd bucks they're a good bang-for-buck card...

Forget the gf2 mx 400. You will notice stuff all difference from the card you currently have. Been there done that.

You would get about 100-150 3dmarks and about 1.2 frames per second in your favorite game. The GF2tis are not that much cheaper than a GF4mx so add that one to your list.

A GF3 ti 200 would be good. I have heard of asus cards already going for less than $400 so shop around.

Leadtek GF3 Ti200 T cards can be found very cheaply ATM. You will get some awesome performance from these cards. They use 4ns RAM, so you should be able to hit around 500Mhz on the RAM, but you might need to take off the standard GPU heatsink and put your own cooler and ramsinks if you want to do some overclocking as the card only comes with a rather weird looking GPU HSF. www.umart.com.au have these cards for $385, which makes them a steal at that price.

Your other option is a GF4MX card. Currently Leadtek also have one of these on the market, the A170, which is the MX440 model. Umart have these on preorder for $275. To be honest tho, you'd be much better saving up for a GF3 Ti200 card as it will last you longer in end. Plus, it's fully dx8 compliant so when the dx8 games start hitting the shelves (like Doom3) you will be able to play them no problems. Of course, Leadtek cards have always shown to be good overclockers, so you should be able to get standard GF3 speeds (200/460), or even close to Ti500 speeds (240/500) out of the card which makes playing games at high resolutions with AA a pleasure.

I'd go with the GF3 Ti200 card if you can put a bit more cash aside.

Where are you located ?

Most people have their favorite brand but these are my suggestions:

Look for:

ASUS (a tad expensive)
Leadtek (tdh if you want temperature monitoring)
Hercules (expensive but good gpu cooling out of the box)
Gainward
MSI (good reviews)

Steer Clear of:

Sparkle
Eagle

Toms Hardware generally compare a few brands and look at important stuff.

Look at gamedude (depending on your location)

http://www.gamedude.com.au/

Look at the suma card at gamedude but check if anyone has one of the cards and see if it does actually overclock well.

Leadtek 200T for $325 at www.it-rite.com.au
Looks like after their current batch is gone, they won't be getting more in.

Also, PNY a budget brand in the US is a remarked MSI - that means thumbs up, if you're interested in bringing one in from the states (about $270-300 all up).

Default Video Card

Don't know if you've got your card yet, but if not check out the prices at newegg.

http://www.newegg.com/

They're located in the states so I'm not sure how much shipping would be for you.

Another great source for parts (also in the U.S.A.) is Best Byte Computer:

Good Luck.
