Has anyone had much experience with Asus laptops? Currently there is a Asus M6 (1.6Ghz, 512ram, 9600-64mb, dvd+-, 15.4 wxga) for only $2299. I was looking at the Acer 1682 line of laptops, but they work out about $500 more with the same specs.
So yeah - anyone got an asus m6? Whats it like? |

Yer,
The ASUS 12.1" is absolutely fantastic, especially in white. Tad expensive though. Wholly recommended. Very well built, comes with 2 batteries carry case etc. Excellent machine all-round. |

Another happy ASUS owner here. At the moment I'm using mine as a DTR but when I was using it for work it was easy enough to cart around (3.5kg).

Yeah the tiny M5N is an awesome machine 12.1' screen, DVD burner, 2 batteries, carry bag, 128MB Flash Drive, wireless, etc, unfortunately they forgot the bluetooth
I use it as a work computer and since i run around and see clients and it is pretty light... the only problem i have now is reducing the number of wires i use.
