Default If I have an excellent KT266A board ....

like the KR7A with a XP 1700+ running at almost 1700Mhz, what could be the next? For sure not a KT333 board, we know this already. Any recommendation?

I rekon wait for the KT400 chainy. That coupled with a new .13 AMD cpu will own anything. If your a gamer then even a GF4 Ti46000 would be nice....

Be happy with what you've got damn it...

My once happy 1.4GHz T-Bird is being replaced with a XP1600+ so that should be interesting...

Could always hang out for the K9...

I am very happy at the moment, after a horrible 2001 with

- 4 dead TBird 1.33
- one dead 7DRX
- 3 dead 8KHA+
- 1 moronic Promise TX/4 (very expensive)
- 1 Audigy which refused to run properly on the KR7A

I am now happy that my current system

KR7A
XP 1700
512 MB PC 2700
ATA 133 RAID Rocket 404 with Maxtor disks

is running like a charme

But, we are always looking forward to the next best, probably a KT400 with a 0.13 CPU???

Man... you certainly have some problems with yourself to have such an extensive list of dead components...

don't forget I am writing reviews for OCAU. There is a certain tear and wear. Please read this here about the infamous ZEN Radiator
http://www.overclockers.com.au/techs..._radiator_zen/
which killed my beloved 7DXR and one of the 4 TBird 1.33. Finally it was OCAU (on my expenses) that warned the wordl about this great evil CPU cruncher.

But I don't deny that I have a problem, for example with my girlfreind. How about you?
