Default Which PDA? (possibly Ipaq 4700 or 2755?)

I'm in the market for a PDA. Was wondering what the Ipaq 4700 is like, or whether it is too big to just carry around with you (e.g. to uni)? Or comparatively, has anyone seen the 2755?

Considering I can pick up a brand-new 4700 for $850, is it a better deal than the axim x50v?

EDIT: I was looking at the Ipaq secifically because it seems you are able to install linux on it? I'm completely new to PDA's, but want to get the best one I can afford as to not have to upgrade it in the near future.

The Axim is the better bet. I got one on Friday for $644 I think it was (20% off + free delivery), so I got some extra accessories for it. I think that was the last day for the special, but if you call them up on Monday (good luck with outsourced Indian support/sales and a complete maze of computer operators) and say their website was playing up when you were trying to order, they might give you it for the special that was on, on that day.
