How hard is it to get 2HDDs into an SN85G4?i read theres only space for one as the other is taken by the card reader? can u take away the card reader and use a second HDD? and would that mean taking off the front panel thingy as well?
also i read that the PSU comes with a SATA molex for your hdd. if i dont have an SATA drive, is it just possible to split a normal molex into two and use that? or do i HAVE to use the SATA molex and convert that? thanks Last edited by MoNk{LAH}; 20th January 2005 at 12:53 AM. |

A part of the front panel was cut away to fit another hdd in mine when I had it as the psu fan is in the way. I just used a molex power splitter to power the 2 hdd's 9800xt and dvd burner

You can remove the card reader and install a drive without modding the front panel -- but use a SATA drive as the cable bends are real tight. Ok to use a splitter for power.
