Default Connect iPod to PDA

I am currently in the market for a PDA

I have an idea on what to look for (First time buyer), but that does not concern this post.

What i would like to know is if it is possible to connect an ipod to a pda, in order to use it as a storage device. My budget does not stretch to a PDA that offers USB host features, so I was wondering if this is possible by other means.

I remember seeing this done before (to stream music via wifi to other pda users), but cannot find the website (this was about 2 months ago, and hours of googling have found nothing). It may have been at ipodlounge, but i looked there and found nothing.

So, is it possible to do this on a sub-$450 pda?
