palaminos will still be .18u, when it shrinks to .13u the things should get REALLY interesting, just look at what .13u did to the
p3, basically the shorter lengths made a big difference, it only makes me wonder what a .13 athlon can do

- many 1.33 AXIA, such as mine, hit 1.6 w/o problem
- the real thing will be the change to .13 micron, AXIA or something else is a minor thing in comparison with that.

OK, well from comments made by another friend, it seems that there are HEAPS of 1ghz AXIAs around at melbourne swap meets....however they are all the C type (266mhz FSB)........
Maybe AMD stopped production of the B type (200mhz) AXIAs......

any idea whatsoever of the timeframe we are looking for .13 micron athlons?
i know alot of people think they should go to that now, from my "Palomino, WHEN?" thread. AMD's Roadmap sais first half next year with thoroughbred and appaloosa, but i also heard somewhere they are bringing forward the release of morgan.

could it also be possible for the same to happen to thoroughbred and appaloosa?

just a thought
