Default Large fall in Ram Prices??

Is there any reason why generic 512mg DDR400 sticks are now $55 each
and hynix 1gig DDR sticks are $140 each

?????

This is the cheapest... I have ever seen memory prices at... ever...

Edit .. the prices are from MSY...

Thanks for the head up, ram has dropped big time and I didn't know it.
The cheapest I can find in perth is a PLE: generic 512MB sticks $62, kingmax super ram $85 or netplus: generic $62, hyundai hynix $88. None of them are listing cheap 1gb sticks though

No but the Taiwanese and Koreans want payments in USD.

Sounds like a glut in the market.

Yeah, the drop is pretty drastic. At MSY, the Hyundai 1GB was $290 just a few days ago. Now it's $140!
