Default Axim Users please look!

Hi Guys,

My mum has a Dell Axim X3i that I got for her,

Now she seems to think a piece of plastic fell out of the connector on the bottom of the unit. And after looking at it it seems to be a bit flimsy with just a row of pins. Just wondering if anyone can confirm that there is something missing, I have attatched a photo.

Thanks

hard to explain so read carefully

No your x3 does not have anything missing for it. The original first released x3 just had pins without anything to support it and a lot of people had bent pins because of that.
Dell found out and changed the design putting a piece of plastic underneath. All X30 has a plastic supporting the pins.

If you unit was under warranty and it happens to have bent pins then Dell will fix your unit by changing the pin connectors with the new one - but will only do it once!
