Default WAN dropouts

Hey guys, I have recently set up a wireless network in my house with a Belkin router (F5D7230-4 i think), one computer directly connected to the router via cable and one connected via a wireless card. I am experiencing net dropouts on the one connected wirelessly. The signal is at around 60-70%, but the net will stop working, then start again maybe 20 mins later. I am running XP with no firewalls. Then sometimes I will not be able to see the wireless network at all, for no apparent reason, then when I restart I can see it again. My net provider is Bigpond Cable. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks for your time.

Have you enabled wep for security on your wireless network?. Maybe try that!.

In my past experience with wireless networks make sure you have entered the ssid on your notebook exactly how it is on the router. Including caps, spaces, etc.

And are you letting windows manage your wireless network? maybe try the software that comes with your wireless card..

just my 2c
