Default Project Hevy Plex SLB.

Hey all, promised my 8yr old son Zak that after i finished building Fusion i'd get a start on modding his SLB.

Rather than pull his down for a few weeks i decided to just go and buy him a new one and mod that.

Rather than blab on for parragraphs about thoughts and ideas behind everthing i'll just post the pics and save you guys some time and answer any questions you have.
Cheers.

I'll be adding water and incorperating my own custom made res's

Do you do this for a living?

If you don't, you should.

This is really quality stuff.

Thanx guys i just enjoy creating !

NoOzL, i couldn't charge to do this stuff man, but i have a fully decked out work shed here at your disposal, if you ever want to come down and use it i'm more than happy to lend my skills and tools

a lil update

Started work on with the front plex panel.

Again counter sunk holes are drilled for hexbolts and edges are beveled and polished.

Again zak helps cutting out the black back sheeting and the back front and hex bolts can be assembled.

A New Matrix Orbital LCD display is added to help monitor water temps and give Zak a new toy to play with. I love these things

another qik fit up to check and a qik lights on test again

bit more work done last night,

utilising the bay bus and adding a "double adaptor" Zak can add lights now as he needs.

I've made him up a few new Red leeds as well and now can colour mix as he needs

I think I've already praised your work in another thread, but just in case I didn't :

"you, sir, are a modding (insert diety of choice)"

btw, where do you get the little screws/bolts? I've been looking for 3mm csk hex or phillips, and the only place i can find them is blackwoods. Which is just a pain in the butt 'cause I don't have a credit card.

Few update piccys,

got some awsome mirror plex and cut to some to fit, pretty impressive stuff and we think it looks a lot classier than the black

also put a LED in the new front panel to finish the case lighting
