Whats the stuff that you have between the connector and the LED? And where can I get some from. I think I may have to put some of these leds in my case

I've used M4 x 12mm 316 grade S/Steel "button" head cap screws for a similar panelling idea. A more rounded industrial look IMHO and no countersinking req'd. what size are you using there?
As usual your work is FANTASTIC!!!!!
