As the topic states, does this board support the tualatin CPU's or has anyone tried tried it?? From what I have read on the Abit website it seems that only the original coppermine processors will work. Correct me if I'm wrong, but apparantly the only Tualatin's that are SMP enabled are the "S" model CPU's, or the ones that feature 512kb of cache (excuse my lack of Intel knowledge). What dual motherboard would work with dual Tualatins, and are these available in Australia?? Thx, any feedback would be appreciated.

Tyan has dual Tualatin boards. Stop by www.ipspty.com.au for a look.

There is also the IWill DVD266u-RN which supports dual Tualatins and DDR SDRAM. It is based on the VIA Pro266T chipset and should be priced in the mid-$400.
The VP6 has no support for Tualatin processors, in dual- nor single-processor configurations.

Or dare I say it a Giga-byte board for $250, the 6VTXD, nothing special but it is stable.
Cheers, AP.

Hmm, wondering around MSI's website, I also saw the MSI Pro266TD which also supports dual Tualatin's. There is also a version of this board with onboard RAID. The 2CPU forums have very positive comments on this board, however it seems all but impossible to find one of these in Australia. Anybody know where I might be able to pick one up from??
