[BNE] Resurrecting Team_Bris subteam!

With the 'thumbs up' from the original creator of Team_Bris, I'm on a recruiting drive for people to join me in resurrecting this OCAU F@H subteam.

As with many small-time folders, I was getting annoyed that I wasn't moving up the ranks, so thought it would be good if I could band together with other like-minded individuals in the greater Brisbane area (or anywhere for that matter, we won't turn anyone away!) in order to move up the ranks more quickly.

A list of members is being kept for "BEAT the BOX" and other giveaways.

Let's get this train back on track!

So I searched through this forum for any reference to 'Team_Bris' and some person who hasn't been on here since February seemed to be pimping 'Team_Bris' about a year ago, I PM'ed them and e-mailed them a few days back but so far no luck - I wanted to find out if I could resurrect 'Team_Bris'.

If I don't get a response back, I'm thinking I'll just start folding for 'Team_Bris' anyways.. but that's not going to benefit me if I'm the only folder, there'd be no point.

So I guess this is a 'do you know anything about Team_Bris' / would you fold for Team_Bris thread.

If we could get several small-time Brisbane-based (or anywhere-based!) people folding for Team_Bris that'd be great.. we could move up the ranks whilst keeping a list of members so we can still be eligible for beat-the-box and other giveaways.

Comments / thoughts appreciated.. Team_Bris currently ranked 385 for OCAU.

We've just formed a sub team called 'MaddKidz' with A_misfit, Mrturkey and myself many on 24/7 and numerous borgs (ramping up) and have just started a few days ago. We're on msn and chat a bit.

I'm not sure how much of a 'MaddKid' I am, but we'll see.. if nobody is interested in folding for Team_Bris I may consider it.

I'm surprised at the response actually, but I do have an update; I did end up getting a reply from the Team_Bris creator; they're currently unable to fold but they may be back at some point..

Anyways we're all welcome to fold for Team_Bris.

I actually started folding for TeamXFAU since nobody wanted to join me, but I will have to switch to Team_Bris according to my original intention. I think TeamXFAU has enough firepower, they won't miss my pathetic contribution

However, I won't switch until after the current Beat The Box - I don't wanna trouble Bollocks again so soon since I switched.

In the meantime though, should I start keeping a list of Team_Bris members? I'll edit my first post and the thread title accordingly if that's the case.

FaTs (I assume you wanna join! Awesome stats / boxen you have..), uberbanzai - I'll add you guys to the list when you change over to Team_Bris. While we won't get anywhere near the firepower of TeamXFAU, I still like the idea of folding with a group of like-minded locals.

EDIT: REDFIRE, am I to understand that you're a brisbanite wishing to fold for Team_Bris, or was your post in relation only to the state vs. state thing?

Ellroy in case you're reading this, I shall be asking to be removed from TeamXFAU when BEATtheBOX 37 finishes on 27th June so I can pursue my original intention to fold for Team_Bris.. just a heads up
