As I've only owned normal 4:3 format ones, I have a cupla questions re: Widescreen laptops.
1. Is a 15" widescreen laptop much smaller vertically than a 14" ? 2. Does Windows XP detect it is running on a widescreen display and take advantage of the extra width? I'd imagine the video driver would need to know about widescreen. |

windows xp detects your native resolution of your laptop..it sets it by default to this...you can however change it to whatever res you prefer
