ran the full test suite all 5 categorys and scored

Overall = 4619
CPU = 4419
MEM = 4580
GFX = 5152
HDD = 6380

Still has OC potential, im quite sure i need a big Dual 12v PSU with all the hardware installed in this thing.

Well, I haven't got any SATA II disks yet, I'm still on 2x 36GB WD Raptors for my OS. The 7800GTX helps a bit with the score compared to my 850xt pe. Best score so far is 6758

That's very close to 5 Ghz on the cpu. Actually it's my Mach II GT no being able to cope with any more heat from the cpu keeping me from going any further. this is a very demanding test IMO, I can run superpi 32M at almost 300 Mhz more and 3dmarks run at almost 200 Mhz more.

I'm still hoping for a 955x (or better) Intel chipset with SLI support, I may be able to break 7k then

Larsk, your using a 3.8ghz chip, yes?
Thats what I love about this test, it really pushes your system unlike any of the other Futuremark benches to date.
Of course running 10,000 rpm HD's in Raid 0 and a nVIDIA 7800 GTX will give you mega points, good if you can't wait for the ATI 5xx series VGA's

I'm using a 660 chip (3.6 Ghz) actually. I also have 2 WD 74 GB Raptors, they should be marginally faster for future benches.

Well, I already have 2x Gainward 7800GTX Golden Sample cards, but if those R520's turn out to kick some serious a*** and also run in crossfire mode on the P5WD2, I guess junior (my 12 year old son) is in for a nice system upgrade this Christmas...

So far I don't think the P4 Dual core chips are standing out in PCMark05 compared to the single core HT ones. With a speed and cache bump that may very well change in the near future.

Yes, I think when the 'Presler' dual cores come out they could be a good investment, if you can't wait for next generation Intel desktop architecture.

IMHO Presler will only be a update of smithfield with a bigger cache and 200Mhz more clock Conroe will be the one to look out for I cant wait But with PCMARK05 I am only getting 1500Pcmarks the HDD test are only at 0.001Mb's I know this is an issue with X2 Processers but cant work out why it is happening to me

Great score at default speed, PCMark05 rips with dualcores...
