Default s-video

I got a s-video slot on my laptop, and i was wondering what i needed to use this to connect it up to a tv? Can i just use a normal LCD tv? What cables would i need, what brand and price is good?

Depends, does your lcd tv have an s-video connection?? If not you can get s-video-rca adapters, then you get an s-video cable and connect it to your puta and the adapter to your tv.

what does s-vid connection look like?
Is it the same slot on a tv as it is on my computer?
I saw on the owner manual of my computer and it had like this thing that plugged into the computer and had 3 little things coming out on it taht looks like the connections on the front of most tvs thes days.
