Default Precision M70

Just got one of this machines:

-Intel(R) Pentium(R) M Processor 770(2.13GHz)15.4"WUXGA 1
-15.4" Wide Aspect Ultrasharp(TM) UXGA TFT Display

The screen is quite incredible, very sharp and crisp @ 1920x1200 res. Except, the text in very very very eye-squntingly small. At any other resolutions (1600x1000 etc.), everything becomes quite blurry. I assume 1920x1200 is the native resolution. Is there anyway to work at less resolution without the screen blurring up? Not just making the text "Extra Large".

Cheers.
