Default HP iPAQ rz1710

Is this a decent PDA ?

I just read a post about it on another forum (http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum...s.cfm?t=362751) and it does seem to do the basics but it's less than $300 new.

I've never owned a PDA so am thinking I could take the plunge with this unit as its within my budget.

Yeah it's OK. It plays video fine (as long as it's not too high resolution).

It's a basic PDA with no wireless networking and little storage, but if you get it a good price it's fine. I was given one and bought a 256MB + WiFi SD card to use with it.

It's a good PDA for the price. The ram is a little limiting though, you'll find that some things won't open because the ram slider isn't set all to applications. Can't fault it any other way.
