Exclamation Laptop LCD eye-strain problems...

Greetings all,

Has anyone else had sore eye problems due to the new glossy finish LCDs on laptops?

For some reason somthing about my new Laptop's LCD isnt agreeing with my eyes.
I cant tell if its the glossy finish or somthing else.

My desktop PC has a nice 17" LCD monitor which i can stare at all day long without problems and i normally have 20/20 vision so this is very strange for me.

Ill need to work (programming) on this laptop, so fixing this problem is very important.

Thanks for any help.

Try using one of those old school anti glare filters for the laptop screen. If your problems disappear, that is why.

3M have some fantastic antiglare products available. Helped a heap on my PC's. When they arent available I tweak the brightness/contrast which helps.
