Default strange benchmark results

2-3-3-5 seems to be slower than 2.5-3-3-6
i thought the tighter the timings the faster.

here are the results of benchmarks:
(2-3-3-5)
aida32
6244mb/s read
2825mb/s write
3dmark 03: 9451
3dmark 05: 4031

(2.5-3-3-6)
aida32
6317mb/s read
2503mb/s write
3dmark 03: 9520
3dmark 05: 4078

seems to read quicker but write slower with the timings are looser. loser timings gain about 70 marks in 3d mark 03 and around 50 in 3d mark 05.

both ram timings are memtest stable for over 50 passes and the cpu is stresscpu stable for 9 hours. my other system specs are in my sig. are these results normal?
