Default when to re-apply thermal paste for CPU heastink Arctic Freeezer 64

ok
i have my new system build for about 3 weeks now
does the thermal paste for the arctic freezer 64 need to be reapplied again? if so, when?
i usually run my PC on daily for about 6-8 hrs per day.

every 6 months is fair depending on how much u use it and what tasks your performing, honestly i know servers that have run for longer than 3 years with the same shitty thermal paste when it was bought.

If your 24/7 6 months is good, if ur general use 12 hours a day or less then every 12 months should be fine; also make sure u give ur fans and heatsinks a good clean ur computer will thankyou.

shouldn't affect it at all, the thermal paste is made so it can be left for a certain period of time which wouldn't be weeks or months (imho) but replacing \ cleaning out the case every year is essential (imho)

don't bother, a-c thermal paste lasts for 8 years before reapplication is needed.

As far as graphics card it depends on what thermal paste/pad it is.

Stay away from thermal pads, over time they break up and go crumbly, not good

You should upgrade before you have to change thermal paste.
