I played Xbox the other day, Gotham Racing, the graphics where utter crap. The controller was pretty cool though. I was expecting so much more, maybe the res/detail was on low.

To each their own I guess. I like PS2 because I am biased and I have a PSX, which has many many hours of gameplay use on it.

damn the gamecube controller is so good!
looks way too small but it is actually really comfortable (really an issue with the x-box. it's like holding a damn brick) i have massive hands and it fits em perfect! my mate (with relatively small hands) said exactly the same as me

my only gripes is with it are the smallness of the d-pad (around 3/4 the size of a normal one) and the start button cause you really have to stretch to get to it. taking this into consideration it's still easily the best control pad out there right now

hmm, I don't know which I'd get.....

probably neither, I don't even play this N64...

oh, and I think the real PS2 was made by IBM in the late 80's (the line of computers with the MCA slots), and think PSX2 would have been better, but I find myself saying PS2 as well.....

the XBox and Gamecube sound decent though, but paying $600 for something that only plays games, nothing else, I don't see the need......

I'd rather spend $600 on a top of the line CPU or vid card....

The base Gamecube system is only about $400 (depending where you look).

Cool

Excellent work on Nintendo's part there! They'll sell like hotcakes because of that . At least it isnt a rediculous opening price like $750 (PS2).

The RRP for the base GC is $399 so I'm betting it will be $394 at Big W. Which means I would be able to get it for about $375 .

Playstation Extreame I think... from the Playstation Extream Games...

Who knows...

Whenever Im talking about computer parts, Im saying PS/2 as in the mouse and keyboard slots, but people think PS2, the console...

Sony = brainwashers

I really hope the Gamecube will not become totally kiddy oriented minus a few games (like the 64).

i dont see why ppl are knocking the XBOX so much. i think its pretty damn good. From what i've seen from the games, they look cool. Also, it just came out, give it a bit and the games will look and play awesome.

it's mainly because the company is trying to invade a region that they basically know nothing about simply by throwing large amounts of $$ at it.

heh...love this "newtech fanboi" talk.

GC will probably be pretty damn good. Dont think I'll buy one though.

XBox. Hah....I've already got a PC, but mine's not trying to pass itself off as a console.

PC + PS2=all the gaming nirvana I need. For now.......
