I have a few sketches that I want to 'bring to life' via Digital Imaging.
What programs/hardware would be needed to do this? Here are some examples of others work that I want to achieve a similar affect:

thats a tough call mate. mainly because theres so MUCH to talk about in that kind of work.
that images uses vector paths to create that type of style (Illustrator does this beautifully, photoshop also). what you should do is get a scan of the picture, open it in photoshop and start working on creating vector paths on the outlines of your sketch... to get a more indepth explaination just try googling vectors.
