Mewbie to SMP

Can you use Athlon XP's rather than MP's cause I just put together a dual MP1800 machine and would like to build another SMP machine preferably a little cheaper like with XP's

Ok..so do I just use another mobo like the ones running my MP's eg. Tyan or do I use something else. Do I need anything special to do it or do I have to fiddle with the processors or anything?

I'm setting a dual athlon xp 1700 (asus mb) atm - and it seems sweet - everything is up - now i just gotta install the OS.

So no u don't need anything else.
