Can I use this card:
http://www.pccasegear.com/prod2608.htm To output the image through coxial to the TV? Basically I want to output the screen to the TV just like I would with the Svideo connector on the graphics card but only through coxial. Also, is there a better TV tuner card I can get in this price range?

if you want to output to a TV without AV/svideo plugs, connect AV or svideo plugs from graphics card to a VCR input... then connect vcr to tv through antenna cable... then to use computer set the vcr to use auxillary imput and change tv channel to that of vcr

Thought so...
My TV has AV but not Svideo (well actually all the TV's in my house) and the graphics card only has Svideo out. Is there a cheap converter I can use until I get a descent Svideo TV.

Most graphics cards come with an adapter that plugs into that plug on the back of your graphics card, into what looks like svideo out, these adaptors will let u output to AV, svideo, component video or a combination of those. so check your graphics card box... on the other hand it may just be an svideo out plughole

Why don't you just get an S-video to av adapter? Shouldn't cost you more than say $7... You just use a standard S-Video lead, throw the adapter on the end and viola!

$6.60 at Jaycar
$14.98 at Dick Smiths I'm sure just about any electronics shop would sell these, there pretty common. EDIT: I know both the links I showed were for female s-video to female rca(av) but you should have no trouble getting a female to male adapter, which is what you will need, assuming you use a male to male s-video lead.

Thanks! My final question, how does RCA compare to S-Video? I know that S-Video sends the colour, picture, brightness information etc seperately while the RCA just sends it altogether. Does this cause colour bleed etc or will the picture be similar?
