Default Dell X51v Promotion

Doeas anyone one who works in Dell or anyone with inside info, know when the next 20% or similar promo will be held for the x51v. I am really keen to get one buts it just too expensive at the moment.

Anything better in that price range???

i am pretty sure that there isnt anything better for the price and the dell specials seem to be pretty random so its probably better to just check the website once every week.

being a brand new model, I'd guess it will be a month or two before you see a 20% off special. just at a guess.

what would really make me happy would be an update to wm05 for the v50

The US can already order it and is due 1st week November.

Shouldn't be long for Aus.

I have a question relating to this pda, if i was to buy it when a 20% off special was on and i configured it so that i didnt get a memory card (which is included i think when not on special) and upped the warranty to 3 years would it still be on special? Or does the special not apply as soon as you change anything to the configuration of what comes with it.
The reason I ask is that i was just looking through the dell website and when i clicked the x51v it said it came with a 512 memory card (not part of a special) so i unchecked it and clicked the 3 years warrantya nd roughly the same price came up so i was just wondering if this is still the case when it is on special.

Also is there any point ringing up and ordering when it is on special or is there 20% off already as low as they will go.

Sorry if that doesnt make sense.
