Default X600 PcI-E Overclockabilty!!!!

I just got my laptop(as you can tell by the number of posts here). I am very testie about over clocking the video as I have no temp probe, but I did let ATi Tray tools do its thing and tell me its max clocks.

My defualts are
GPU: 400mhz
Mem: 230 (460ddr)

My memory gets a 10% max OC. mem = 251, But my GPU kept going untill I got worried and stoped it at 510mhz. This is with No Artifacts at all, and I was doing this test at work, so I was using Dreamweaver, Outlook and Visual Studio as well as the Tray tools 3d Render Software.

The air coming out the back of my lappy was abit hot, but nothing out of the norm. I did abit of a test in Half life2, with my settings as GPU:441 and Mem at 251. It ran fine, no artifacts, no major heat problems(after 2 hours, the base of my lappy was hot to touch, but I expected that).

Now, I have 2 major Questions about this.
A) What temp should I keep my lappy below(and yes, I have to work out a way to moniter the temp of my lappy first).
B) Did I just luck out and get a X600 that could OC alot, or are all of them like this.

I did not really think that a lappy Video card should be able to get a 20% incease without getting some more cooling(my vidoe card has not air cooling, its all heat pipe cooling).

If only everything was built like my CPU, Highest temp on 2.0 Cel = 107.4

What kinda lappy do you have? I've just rebuilt my ZD and it has a 256mb x600 in it. I've not tried o/c'ing it, but I'm happy to do it for science and see if it is the design or not ...

I have a Metabox 523.
2.0 Gig CPU
X-600 PCI-E Video (256meg of ram)
1 Gig of Ram.

I'm using omaga Drivers, and the Tray tools that come with them.

I am thinking of getting different drivers to see if that will increase my 3dmark scores(I am only getting 1776 in 05).

As for clock speeds, I managed to get it too GPU:498 before I started to artifact after heavy tests(I was running a 3d render test for 5 mins each clock step).

I cant get much out of my Ram. Maxed out at 252. Oh well, cant have everthing.
