Default Sony Vaio Service Mae nual.

Gday,

I want to chuck some more ram in my Vaio. It only has 128mb - i believe out of max 256, unfortunately.

Its a PCG-Z505GAT, but I'm sure the whole series is similar in terms of deconstruction.

Anybody have/know where to get teh service manual or know if its hard to put more ram in?

Cheers,
-Dan

I don't know about your exact model, but I've put in an extra stick of ram into my sony vaio pcg-fr700 quite some time ago. It took me literally one minute to do that. I've only recently transferred that ram onto a new Toshiba M40, which again, took just one minute. So, I would imagine it to be pretty simple.

Try the european service centre website. You have to enter in you serial number for laptop and you should be able to get in.

I went to the european service centre and attempted to enter my model number but it didn't even recognise it. Not serial number.

Any other ideas guys?

The european model number will be different so you will have to match it up.
