Default ST20G5 & other shuttles - static via onboard sound?

Is anyone having issues with the onboard sound producing a lot of static (headphones/speakers etc)?

It's quite annoying and was wondering if anyone's found some trick to partially solve this..

hehehehe

I have that problem with my Digidice (and also have a problem about a constant beating, but we won't go into that). Apparently it is due to EMF from PSU or something else. I found that a dedicated soundcard helps a lot, but doesn't fix it 100%.

Anybody else have an idea?

No problems with the onboard sound with my SN95G5B-V3 yet, but I don't think I have the microphone connected at the moment.

It could be due to the size of the motherboard, they can't isolate the audio chips or something.
Tried muting unneeded channels? like muting the mic and the cd audio and the line in and stuff?
