Default Sony VAIO touch pad going crazy

hi all,

I have a sony v505 which goes crazy with the touch pad.
I hate it so much but am forced to use it when i dont have a mousing surface.

It sometimes doesnt move enough(not enough sensitvity) or sometimes moves it self, presses on things, closes windows (too much sensivity)

I read a thread once here that it can be fixed easily by "pushing down the contacts"

I PM'ed that member to ask what he meant but no reply.

Does anyone know how to fix these shitty touch pads?
