jeez... this is tough...

i like taksan's.. cos well that is along the lines of what i was gonna enter... and who can deny the appeal of those curves...

WRC's, cos it's just a lovely shot.... and it's a moose... what i wouldn't give to be at that location

malcom x and dinuc... great composition and lovely colours..

akuli's for the look and well the way the shot was set up... most definetly unique...

and there's skit's... color, angle/composition and subject matter...

in the end it comes down to the last two... stuck..

i'll vote for skit.. because well... live cattle (i assume, as he mentioned it's not a fake) probably would have been harder to work with... therefore the window of opportunity would have been smaller..

certainly a tough decision all round... all entries are fantastic...

Wow - I feel honoured at my inclusion!

It is indeed a tough choice but in the end I had to go with gatecrasher.

Well I think gatecrasher's image is the most arresting visually, but I'm having a hard time believing that it wasn't edited so I've gone with my next favourite which is kow's. Nice shot bud

Photo was taken in color, converted to B&W in photoshop.
What do you mean it looks edited?

I wonder how many true silhouettes there are in this lot.Perhaps too much manipulation(?) Maybe one of the parameters could have been that entrants submit unedited versions of their pictures.
Great suff from Sir Bazz and Milenko17, my vote went to WRC.

Mine is RAW out of the camera, have done nothing and I mean nothing (except resize). I tried to make it look better by fiddling with levels etc but it only made it worse, so i just left it as is.
If you are ever at a party or whatever that has coloured lighting and a smoke machine, play with it, you can get some really amazing photos, very speilbergish looking stuff.

Thanks for the votes , i am just stoaked to get to the top 10 (with a P&S, i might add, for all of those moaning P&S owners (Kryo)

To flog a dead horse, all I did with this image was to increase the brightness and contrast. The transformation is amazing, not unlike what happened to some entries.

for me its a toss up between Dinuc & taksan.
I love clouds and I love curves.
