Does anyone have any new info regarding Mobile Dual Core CPUs and associated chipsets?
I am looking at buying a new laptop for around the $3000 mark, but I'd like to get a Dual Core Pentium-M (Yonah) or the AMD equivalent if they have one planned. Also, as they aren't due for several months, can anyone tell me if the 915 chipset will be drop-in compatible with a Yonah CPU if I went and bought something like an Asus z71v barebone? |

(1) I've only see a dual-core A64 X2 desktop replacement solution. Its pretty big.
(2) We don't know anything about Yonah...You'll have to wait. Is there a rush to buy? You can't wait until Jan/Feb 2006? |
