Default Laptop Case

Ok, so I bought a new HDD and Ram for my laptop.
Ram install was fantastic. HDD, not so much, as I have to remove the case. However, I couldn't remove the case. I have a BenQ 'Joybook' 8100.
I removed about 12 screws from around the base of the laptop, and 4 from the back. However, it was tightly held in the middle where I couldn't see any visible spots for a screw to hold it in. I removed a bunch of keys from the keyboard with no luck of finding a screw hole somewhere. I removed the foot in the middle of the laptop and the windows XP sticker. I can't find these two mounting points. Im hoping there is something that I've missed that some one out there knows and is laughing and perhaps wants to help me with. Any help would be appriciated.

--Edit
I've checked the manual and the online manual too. Just shows you how to install ram in the slot.

James

I just posted this question a few days ago! (i got a joybook too.) . Theres ONE screw that holds the hdd caddy (its below a sticker that u peel off that says WARRANTY VOID. The screw is in really tight, my normal phillip head jeweller screwdriver didnt fit. I used a flat head and opened it. Pull out the caddy, youre gonna heve even more trouble geting the old hdd out of the caddy. The screw in there a BLOODY TIGHT, i had to buy a new set of screwdrivers just to open them

So you didn't take your whole case appart then? I checked and my HDD isn't anywhere near that warrenty void if removed sticker. I don't know if it sits in a caddy (slides out) at all. To remove the caddy I think I'd need to take the bottom of the laptop off.

Have you got a pic of the bottom?
My lappy was a joybook 6000N, and the HDD was on the bottom right.

Ok, I sussed it out.
I had to take some keys from the top of the keyboard off so I could push back three little clips.
The keyboard then came out.
I proceeded to remove three more screws under the keyboard.
The rest was all standard.

Thanks for all the help

James
