7800GTX 2D Core?

Just been playing with my new Asus 7800GTX...

Ran few passes of 3DMark05, quite pleased with the results and the card seems to clock nicely, well havent pushed it that much though...

Anyway, back to my question, what is the standard 2D core? Mine reports at 277Mhz...is that normal?
The 3D Core is fine, its actually 474Mhz compare to 430Mhz that its suppose to be and when i manually overclocked to 464Mhz through coolbits (its funny though as it shows 434Mhz in coolbits and rivertuner but its set to 474Mhz) after my run of 3DMark05 the clocks 3D Core was @ 504Mhz, not bad!

But yeah main question is is 277Mhz 2D core speed normal for 7800GTX?

Also when i check my specs in 3DMark (System Details) it shows that VGA Core Clock is 277Mhz? Why is it reporting 2D Clocks and not 3D, is that normal?

275mhz is the normal 2d, it stays in 2d mode untill a 3d app is running and then it ramps up to 3d mode. and it is +40mhz on top of what ever you set the 3d clock at.

What is your average temp?
