Default Agoia "y" 1700+

Just got home with moi new CPU & still in the throws of testing/benching it...

AGIOA 0209SPDW
Y7873970001

Currently at 1653MHz at 1.73V...
Maximum I can attain on my board is ~157MHz & since I'm not game to unlock it yet the maximum stable speed is 1733MHz at 1.78V...

Only using a 42CFM Sunon on a PCH137 for cooling though...

Not too shabby at all!

EDIT: Changed stable voltages...

Incidentally..

Isnt the default voltage for an XP chip 1.75V?

how come your running it below that?

the more the merrier, 1.85 is nice for heating up the room

What temps are you hitting with it?

with my 1700@1.6/1.85V atm im sitting pretty on 45degrees while folding, tho i am using a 60cfm delta80mm fan on it tho

with the enermax variable speeder i was using, i was reaching bout 50degrees under load.

nothign excessive tho..

Cheers Mal.. Can I borrow your Vapochill?

Just lowered the voltage down to 1.7V and all seems good...

I want to do the following things before I crank it too much...
- Unlock it
- Get a better cooler
- Finally get a DDR board... Not sure if I should wait for KT333/KT400 or just go KT266A?

DDsD currently sitting at 39C (CPU) 27C (Case) at 1.7V whilst folding.. Check out my full system stats in PCDB entry... In the middle of updating that atm... But remember different boards report different temperatures... so it's all relative...

Unlock yes. cooler pfft them is good *hugs his heatsink* and those temps sound about right for the speed/voltage, im running case 29 cpu 45, so its about right if you ask me.

as for getting a new mobo, KT266a are plenty fine
