HellsAngel - What did you have to bargain with to get all those extras, what kind of stuff did you say to them?

Would love some tips on how to get a better deal with Dell. I just talked to one of the sales reps and they were pretty useless, they pretty much said they can't do anything more for me just swap one the the current specials for a notebook bag instead

I just talked to the sales staff. I called 3-4 different ones with different names and numbers and I went with the one that gave me the best price and deal. I even went to 2 different Dell kiosks in Westfields. The phone staff gave better deals than kiosks. Once I had chosen the sales staff I wanted to use I called them back sweet talk some more than ask to talk to manager and then I got the free Dell bag and delivery cost taken out.

Seems like the price I paid back in February but you've got a spare 6 cell battery and I've got 1Gig RAM. Always nice to know price hasn't really dropped that much lolz

This only happens to notebooks I'd say....

can someone explain the 'cash off' offer. is it like they charge say $3000 for the lappy on your credit card, then you get $300 'cash back' as redemtion or something? or do they just charge $2700 for the lappy which 'costs' $3000.

Just trying to work it out, as it would be very beneficial for salary sacrifice if you got a 'cash back' offer.

and also confirm that the advertise price (down the bottom with the cart), the ottal cost will be $300 less than that correct?
