Default New unlimited ISP...

Allo all

There's another new ISP on the market which seems to have a decent plan.

They're called StormNet, based in Brisbane, with dialin locations in Brisbane, Perth, Gold Coast and soon Geelong and Canberra.

THey do a $29.95/month deal which is unlimited access, no session limits and a static IP. Also get email/webspace, all that shebang.

You can talk to the owner in #stormnet on the OzOrg IRC network, alphalink.melbourne.oz.org:6667 is a good IRC server

They dont have a webpage atm, so just talk to the owner.

Regards,
Matex

Starting out with a new ISP can sometimes mean that you are the beta testers at times, especially with the ISP market being a risky one if it isn't done right.

Hopefully Stormnet won't make the same mistakes as others, but I'd certainly be a bit wary of them at the moment.

I think you will find this will all fall though as it is not economically viable. Anything that comes as really cheap has payments elsewhere. If it sounds too good to be true then it generally is.

As many ISPs have found out, its is not possible to run a decent service with an unlimited plan.
Either he will go broke, or the service will completly suck (engaged lines, slow speeds, high pings, etc).
