Apparently the third revision (GP2X is the second revision, with the GP32 being the first) will have USB and WiFi, or so I hear. Don't quote me on that.

I don't know if it would. MvC is on CPS2 hardware. You need around 500-800MHz to get that emulated well enough, and the GP2X is only 200MHz. Maybe with some serious frameskip you could get it working.

Either that, or hope someone ports a lower-spec emulator like Kawaks to GP2X. Don't hold your breath tho.

Original CPS1 games should work. That's everything right up to Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers.

I still haven't spent more than a few hours sorting mine out! I'm terrible Too many other things to do tho. All I got working was the Amiga emulator with a few games and the MAME one. I havn't even tried my tv-out cable for it yet!!

Wireless and USB are possible with slight mods. Google for it

if it has wifi and is still around the same price I'll buy one so quick it will make mr sang's head spin.
I have watched these since the 32 days and always said if only it had wifi, I think I sent them an email back then and they replied in broken english that it would be on the next version :P well hopefully it is on the third version...

As in the Other OS thread, got one yesterday and only just getting into it now. Loaded up the demo cd onto my 2GB SD card (taking ages to move data from Hard Drive to SD card with an inbuilt SD reader in a IBM laptop). Everything seems pretty simple and easy so far but once I get my batteries and the recharger for them then its time for more fun. Looking for a screen protector for it now as well, anyone know where to get them from in Australia?

Running out of time for a review unfortunately. Also a change in travel methods to work will mean I won't be using this much and will probably sell it in a few weeks. Overall its been pretty simple and easy with Nes, Snes and some Atari games and been playing around with some MAME roms too. Great little entertainer but I am running out of usable time with it

ive been using my r2 (the Mk2 is basically a revision 7, or r7) for ages now.. and love every min of it..

2gb memory cards have woes sometimes.. its VERY hit and miss.. so a 1gb card does me..

you can also get custom thumb buttons for the older ones, as they sucked.. the directional stick thing.. i just made my own that feels more comfortable.

dont forget to get gmenu2x to make it sexy.
