I read "somewhere" can't remember that the Xraider will have a RRP about $20 cheaper then the mystique, but don't quote me

Hi,

RRP for X-RAIDER is $125 and Xplosion should be $19x!

If X_RAIDER w/o DTS should price $40 less, but now...

Just wondering after reading AVS forums in regards to DTS Interactive: Is this 5.1 or 4.1 as the ps2s implementation of DTS Interactive.

DTS Interactive isn't really clear.

Is it clear as:

DTS® Interactive : A real-time 5.1 encoder that takes any 2 or more channel and encodes it into DTS® bitstream. DTS® Interactive provides a single cable connection via S/PDIF digital audio output to a DTS® enabled surround sound system by encoding all audio into a DTS® compatible bitstream at 1.5Mbps (DD is 400kbps)!

Most Excellent. Either of these cards will pair up nice with a set of Z5500D's.

Should be better and more gooderer than most things creative.

The soundstorm I have encodes Dolby at 640kbps (Asus A7n8x d) and output is awsome. Since my upgrade I have been chasing a similar product for ages.
I was about to get the X-Mystique 7.1 card until I read this forum.....

According to Bluegears tech the X-Mystiques DDL is 640kbps not 448kbps.

Could anyone with a reciever that reports actual bitrate can confirm this?

Nintek have them both listed as "Coming Soon" and the price on the X-Plosion is $189 with the X-Raider still TBA.

Im so looking forward to upgrading to a proper sound card. Just dont know if the X-Plosion is worth the extra $$$ over the X-Raider.

i am [finally] going digital with my audio and was gonna get the X-Mystique, but lookin at this thread i might wait a little longer. Which one would be better to connect to a reciever? and any confirmed dates?
