Default GamesMarket.com.au gone awol?

Anyone got anything from them lately?

I ordered a game over a week ago and it hasn't even been processed. No response to email's and phone only gets an answering machine for a couple days now.

Possible VV I guess but...All the emails I've sent to them over the last couple of months (one about a missing order I still haven't got and a couple about games) have gone unreplied, and their site seems to break quite often now. Seems like they are winding down for a possible closure.

I emailed last thursday. No response and I've been ringing for the last 2 days and all I get is an answering machine with a full message bank.

It's not a VV or advertisement. I've made sure not to be negative about it.

I'm posting it because I'd like to go buy the game from somewhere else, but I can't even cancel my order. That's why I wanted to know if anyone had received orders or communication lately. I don't really want to go buy it, then have them ship it all of a sudden and end up with 2 copies.

That address page gives a 404 for me, thanks for posting it. I work in the city. I'll go to that office and see if I can find anything out.

I was trying to get it from the Help page via the button at the top of the page. Everything there gives an error from cold fusion.

I just found the link on the main page that works.

1 item of Battlefield 2 DVDROM PC
Order Date: 15 Nov 2005
Status: (Processed) as of 24 Nov 2005

But still not shipped. Left a message on their machine last friday but no response.

Page for the item shows it as in stock but I consider that highly unlikely. False advertising?

Haven't had time to see if their city office is there yet but I should be able to go there today.

The gamesmarket website appears to have not been updated, with a few at least games still on "pre-order" that have already been released.

"Suite 445, Level 5

They aren't there. The suite is for lease and the stickers on the door are for an accountancy so I'd say they haven't been there for a while.

I've pm'ed gm:fx about his offer but if they aren't there wtf do I do next? Block them from charging my cc? Assuming they haven't already charged it of course.

You will most likely have to contact the Administrator or Liquidator and join the line of creditors. It is unlikely you will get your money, or any significant part of it back.

Amazing GM used to be one of the best online games store in AU, now they are gone and seem to have taken a lot of peoples money with them...

I have 2 of their shirts in unopened packs if anyone wants to bid on a now rare collectors item! :P
