Default PS2 Laser Replacement

Hi guys. Was just wondering if anyone knew of any places in Sydney where i could get my PS2 laser replaced? The only place i know of is Quantronics in Parramatta but they are all out of the lasers i need for my version playstation and may be till next yr. Thanks in advance.

Not sure if it helps, but i noticed a bunch of PS2 laser assemblies on eBay. There were also lots of PS2s with dud lasers. :/

hehe

well i just tried the voltage mod on the laser and cleaning the lens and ive stuffed it even more

somehow ive even stuffed the player one port. made sure all the ribbon cables were in tight and there were so must be sumthin bad...looks like i'll have to get a new controller port aswell

just thought i may aswell post it here aswell but if anyone has a dead ps2 non slim that has working controller ports and laser if they wanna sell it cheap pm me

i got it replaced at a place called Technology Kingdom in beverly hills. Nice place, nice people. No website to post but just look them up in the white pages or sumthin if yur interested i guess. Cost me $120 for parts and labour with a 3 month warranty on both.

Thanks for the help and suggestions anyways.

ive seen many a PS2 deal go for less than $120. that includes controllers, and games.

these guys sure know how to make money!
