Hi
![]() I just purchased a Xbox Live starter pack with included 12month subby, i have installed it ans it's asking for a credit card, why? Also i don't have a credit card so would a visa debit card be ok? Please help as i am itching to get this going

Anyone Know the jist of why setup asks for Credit card number even if i have 12mth sub?

It does it as a security measure and so that when the sub is up, they can deduct another year from your card easily. The Xbox 360 allows you to sign up without a card, but not with the Xbox.
