i just bought a duron 1.2ghz and was wondering how hot it should be running, i have it running at 1320 ghz standard and its running at about 55 degrees, i want to overclock it a bit more but don't want to fry it like my old celeron

if your using the stock cooler, get something a better, like a volcano 7+ and overclock further....we wanna see that duron smokin' (not literally tho

well mine was $58 from AusPcMarket
BUT The TaiSol copper base forged cooler you can get from them for $35 or so is just as good, and they have only a 5500 rpm fan so your ears won't blead |

I have a duron 1200@1320 at default voltage.
It is cooled by a DR Thermal Ti-V77 and it is regularly in the mid fifties. I guess they just run hot. (It is in an A7pro which reads high temps) It is stable though. Nazgul |
