cheapest centrino 15.4 widescreen laptop in sydney?
hi guy I just bought a laptop in myer
Compaq Presario v4000 V4002ap Pentium M 730 1.6 intel prowireless 2200 b g LAN 60gb harddisk 15.4 wxga brightview 512 ram DVD Rewritable dual layer drive xp home memory card reader for 1076 that witout the 200 cash back yet so after cash back it is 876 so happy with this bargin |

That looks like a pretty sweet deal.
I have a question about the wifi. Is it possible to plug an external antenna into it? I have this thing about laptops. I would like to have a laptop. I am sure i would use it, but i am not sure that i would use it enough for it to be worth the expense. |

you sure thats the right lappy model number? They dont have it on the website
Well they have the 4000 but not with those Exact Specs

Well, just looked in Myers (Sydney CBD), and the closest they have is $999 ($799 after cashback) for a V2000 something or rather, with 3000+ Semperon, 256mb, 40gb, DVD-CD+RW, etc... Bloddy good bargain that you got

The V4002ap RRP is $2100 as of June 2005.
It is no longer a current model of Compaq. I guess its old stock Myers had or the sales person sold it at the incorrect price.

it is an old model (I think) the model number is v4002ap
it was bought from myer last one, ring around another three myer couldn't find another one I think the 799 is not a good buy since u can buy the v4000 (v4114ap) for 1000 after the cash back that with 15.4 widescreen and wireless Lan B and G as well as a dvd writer also note that if u apply a myer credit card they give u extra 10% on top on the discount |
