Default BIOS on laptops

hi,

does anyone know how to get in2 the bios on an IBM Thinkpad R31?

i have formated the drive, so all i need is get into the bios to change the boot sequence from floppy to cdrom.

more importantly, can i boot from cd-rom without getting in2 the bios? (is there a magic key on the keyboard i need to press?)

cheers.

It says it on the Thinkpad Logo screen. Press F1 for bios or F12 or F11 for the boot menu.
