Coming back to the fold... picking up a Mac Mini tomorrow with wireless keyboard and mouse. Was going to get an Imac, but the mac mini will do what I need.

Just reinstalling the system now. Still love the new mac smell. The new mac mini's are good shape. I've previously had 2 other generations of them. i.e. first model with G4 1.42 and then the first Intel model after it.

Will be sure to go buy apple care before first year expires, as I will be keeping this unit for a while. Was going to get the imac, but figured I should make use of the Dell display I have already since the display is quite new. Got wireless mouse + keyboard.. Plan on getting ipad when next model comes out.

I bought an 11" Macbook Air a few weeks ago, and I love it! It's the perfect size for my needs.

My original intention was to primarily run Win7 on it. But I haven't found any need to yet. I'm rather liking OSX

The shine of my new Mac's starting to wear off - I'm not so up to date with Apple things now. Does anyone know when OSX Lion 10.7 is coming out? I'm due for a OS reinstall - as I've been having niggling network connectivity troubles after resuming from sleep/hibernation. But figured I'd wait for Lion, and next gen SSD drives to hit the market before I upgrade everything all at once.

Mac OS X 10.7 will be available in the US summer this year. So our winter. I'm expecting it will be released right at the end, or delayed. Happy to be proven wrong

If you have the wireless keyboard, or are a MacBook/Pro user, FN+DELETE will right delete in Mac OS - the same shortcut might be useable in Windows?
If that doesn't work, check this out for a solution. Keyboard Layout, Windows 7 on Mac Book Pro.

Got my first Mac, a 27" core i5 iMac.

My PC and modding roots still have hold of me though, as I have added 4 gig more RAM and an SSD in addition to the internal hard drive using this guide http://www.twam.info/hardware/apple/...d-2010-27-imac

Cannot wait for OS-X Lion for trim support now.

The extra 4 meg of ram must really help it run faster. :P

Errr, yes It was a cache mod for my bios. Very tricky with lots of detailed soldering LOL.

Corrected.
