I know this is a long shot, but I dropped and cracked the screen on my pda (dell axim x50). So 3/4 of the screen works just fine, the bottom quater the touchscreen is unusable.
A new screen is $300, so hardly worth it. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a way to "resize" the screen, so I could just use the top 3/4 of the touchpad which works fine? Thanks |

If it is only the digitizer that is broken you can buy one online cheaply, although most are overseas shops like, http://www.gethightech.com/Merchant2...egory_Code=DIG
Check www.aximsite.com for more help |

best bet is probably ebay, and get a new screen fro hongkong or something. ( I have an x50v) and it's a shame about the screen.
I also had a Palm m515 when they were new and payed $800 for it and dropped it about 1 year ago, and looked into getting it repaired, but the hassle was more than I could be bothered with, so I bought an X50v. if it was me, id flog it on aximsite, or ebay for spares & then get an X50v :-) good excuse if you ask me... hehehe I like new stuff.
