Default Ipod LCD Replacement

Hi all.
My Friend has a U2 Ipod that for some reason a other friend tried to take a bite out of it

With this action the LCD is useless, it now just lights up and a blue "Area" and white area light up and thats about it.

Is there any way to replace the LCD on the ipod.
