Talking PSP Games - how to find out which games work with firmware ??

Is there a list somewhere to find out which games work with a particular PSP firmware ?

I just got myself a brand new PSP v1.5 unit should arrive in next 2 days. Question is how do I find out what game works with what firmware ?

Also anyone know if Tekken series will make an appearence on PSP ?

Games most interested in:

* Twisted Metal: Head On
* Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max
* Virtua Tennis World Tour
* World Snooker Challenge 2005
* Armored Core Formula Front
* Any Tekken like games ????

Games wouldn't mind getting if price was right:

* Ridge Racer
* Wipeout Pure
* Star Wars Battlefront 2
* World Tour Soccer Challenge Edition
* Tiger Woods Pga Tour 2006
* World Poker Tour
* Fight Night Round 3
* Need For Speed Most Wanted
* World Series Of Poker

Anyone know which firmware is needed for each game ?

Looking at getting them from www.gamehead.com.au

Thanks in advance

lol, why bother buying a v1.5 if your going to buy the games. do what the rest of v1.5 user are doing and buy a 1-2gig memory stick duo and store them on that

I don't think this list gets updated very often.

This site has the list of games that do/don't work with 1.5 firmware. I have also put 'works' next to each title I know works with 1.5 off the top of my head.

Hope this helps.

edit: beaten by a minute

My games and stuff arrived this morning but seems both games request v1.52 firmware update to run ???

Virtua Tennis: World Tour
Twisted Metal: Head On

So with PSP v1.50 console, how should i get it to run these games without updating to 1.52v ???

Seems those lists are old as they said these 2 games can run on v1.50 ??

use UMdemulator 0.8 or fastload 0.7 to load games from UMD, just choose to load the UMD instead of an ISO in the menu.

those games do work on 1.5 do a google search for Wab Version changer. It tricks the games into thinking u have a different version firmware so that the games run. This doesnt work on newer games as they require segments of embedded in the new firmware. If your not interested in Warez then you may want to upgrade to 2.00 you can still play some homebrew etc. through exploits

don't use WAB's version changer, that program directly alters your firmware which is not all that good. lol

use fastloader or umdemulator, as they do the trick all in ram.
